Case 109
Belanglo
(Part 5)
[Part 5 of 5]
Accused serial killer, 51-year-old Ivan Milat sat motionless before the court as he faced trial for what became known as ‘The Backpacker Murders.’ A small perspex screen was fitted above his seat to protect him from anything that may be hurled towards him from the public gallery. He kept his gaze averted at all times, with some detecting a hint of a smile on his face.
