Case 12

Katherine Knight

*** Content Warning: domestic violence, mutilation ***

45-year-old John Price was becoming increasingly afraid that his abusive partner, Katherine Knight, would do something to seriously harm himself or his children. On February 29 2000, he took out a restraining order against her before commenting to his co-workers that if he didn’t show up for work the next day, it was because Katherine had killed him.

As predicted, the following day John was a no-show at work. Police were called to his house and saw blood inside. Although they expected the worst, nothing could prepare them for the true extent of the horrors they were about to uncover.
