Case 228
The Harrison Family
In April 2009, 64-year-old Bill Harrison, a much-loved member of the community of Mississauga, Canada, was found dead in his home. An autopsy revealed that he died of natural causes. Just over one year later, Bill’s wife, Bridget Harrison was also found deceased in the family home. Although Bridget’s autopsy showed that foul play may have been involved, a brief investigation failed to identify any suspects.
It wasn’t until over three years later when Bill and Bridget’s adult son Caleb Harrison was also found dead in the family home that police took the Harrison murders seriously. Police homed in on married couple Melissa Merritt and Chris Fattore. They had a lot to gain from having the entire Harrison family out of the picture.
