Case 229

The Killer Realtor

On Thursday, November 6 2003, a customer was met with a grisly scene at a motorcycle dealership called Superbike Motorsports in Chesnee, South Carolina. Owner Scott Ponder, his mother Beverly Guy, store manager Brian Lucas and mechanic Chris Sherbert had all been gunned down in cold blood.

The quadruple homicide was one of the worst crimes Spartanburg County had ever seen, and would eventually go cold… until a double missing persons case more than a decade later and a successful realtor named Todd Kohlhepp would take the case in an unexpected direction.
